What really is a dinner date ?
A Day/Night out with good food and drinks, with good friends or a new found lover or an old lover. But remember these are dinner dates right after the lockdown, not ideal and not perfect the images we want are not of the moment of pleasure or desire but rather those that allow our imaginations to roll out conversations, captured right before the greatest pleasures and the best of endings.
The images are just tools to strike conversations about what could have possibly happened before, that led to the dinner date or during it or after it.
What music was playing?
Did we dance?
What food did we have?
Did you hold my hand?
Did we finally kiss?
Did we watch a movie after?
The true act of love is to know how to relive memories and moments of love, when love was something more than a word or a promise of commitment.
On a larger level of thought, not everyone does feel or emulate mutual understanding. The world at this moment has never needed anything more than its people understand each other and the hard work it takes to run it. But in order to understand everyone's confusion we must experience everything at the same time something which is impossible to do. Love seems to be the closest way to experience all these emotions and feelings. The Paintings and Collages in general are not representations of the world we live in but rather a world of its own devoid from what we see. The paintings or collages are a world of itself.
